Need the whole event sorted?
Start with a DJ or ask us to put the full night together.
Venue, sound and lighting, catering, security, a photo booth or a videographer. Tell us what you have already booked and what you want us to organise. We will build the package around the job, not add things you do not need.
Extras are quoted for your event. Nothing is added to your booking just because you tick a box.

Questions people ask
Is ceremony audio included in every wedding DJ booking?
Not automatically. Tell us if you need it, where the ceremony happens and what your celebrant or venue provides. We will set out the agreed equipment and coverage in your quote.
Can the DJ make announcements?
Let us know which announcements you need and whether someone else is acting as MC. If you want a dedicated host or a more involved MC role, include that in the enquiry so we can discuss the right arrangement rather than assuming it is part of the DJ set.
Can we be involved in choosing the music?
Yes. Send the important songs, favourite styles and anything you want avoided. Some couples have a detailed brief and others want more guidance. We will work through the direction with you either way.
Can you cover a ceremony and reception at different Sydney venues?
Tell us both locations and the timings so we can check what is practical. Separate equipment and changeovers may be needed, and those should be agreed in the plan and quote before the day.
What does booking a Vex DJ mean?
Your music, your crowd, your occasion. Tell us what you have planned and we’ll take care of the DJ, with a clear quote before you book.
Is a sound system included?
Yes. A standard sound system is included with Vex private DJ hire. For a bigger setup, ask about a premium sound upgrade with extra subwoofers and speakers. Upgrades are quoted separately.
Can we send song requests and a do-not-play list?
Absolutely. Tell us the music you love, the songs that matter and anything you want left out. We use that brief to shape the night, with room to respond to your guests rather than following a fixed playlist from start to finish.
Can you help with more than the DJ?
Yes. Standard sound is included. Tell us if you also want premium sound, lighting, a photo booth, photography or video. We can also help plan a full event package, including the venue, catering and security. Your quote will set out what is included so you can choose the scope that suits your event.
